SRS Airbag system

The Celerio has front airbags for the safety of both the driver and front passenger in case of a frontal collision.

Pedestrian injury mitigation body

The structure of the bonnet, front windscreen wiper area, front bumper and othe parts absorbs impact with the aim of mitigating head and leg injuries in the event of a collision with a pedestrian.

Rear parking sensor

Ultrasonic sensors in the rear bumper detect obstacles while the driver is reversing the car. Warning sounds help keep the driver informed of the distance to the obstacle.

Hill hold control

Hill hold control is designed to prevent the vehicle from rolling backwards when you restart the car on a slope. It engages the brakes for up to two seconds after you remove pressure from the break pedal to depress the accelerator.

ESP®

ESP(Electronic Stability Programme) detects wheel slip, for instance when you turn the steering wheel sharply and/or the road is slippery. It automatically affects control over the engine torque and brakes to suppress the wheel slip and helps you stay in directional control.

ABS

In an emergency braking situation, the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) keeps tires from locking up and helps you maintain steering ability.
